Back from the Dead
Oct. 6th, 2013 11:51 amHis new team was doing well. Each case they worked together slowly made them a more cohesive unit. It was slow going and a change for Coulson. He was used to Team Delta which worked seamlessly together. He had to be patient but when Fury handed him his next case he knew that the slow beginning was not good enough.
He had to call in a favor. Hill argued with him, but Phil was more stubborn. In the end she had no choice but to bring in Clint, which meant reinstating his higher security and allowing him back on the carrier.
Phil watched through the two-way glass as Hill debriefed Clint, explaining what he was needed for and that he would be working with a new team. She said he would be working with a new team lead and Coulson took the cue.
"Agent Barton," he said calmly. "I expect you know what's expected of you?"
