No relationship is going to be easy when they have the sorts of careers they have. Phil can just disappear and Scott has to fight world ending threats that could end him. That's going to create some complications but they've managed well so far.

"It's one loaf of bread," he says with a small chuckle. "I don't think it'll be too many carbs for your superhero diet."

Phil's weakness is sweet things. He really likes sweets of any kind but he tries not to indulge too often. He does a careful balancing act between exercise and donuts. Man, he loves donuts.

"But if you're so very sleepy we can take a nap." He leaves his hand resting on the small of Scott's back.
